Wonderstruck’s goal is to deliver a single-server, massively-multiplayer sandbox game that lets players explore a gigantic universe, encounter a variety of creatures and build the sort of sprawling creations we’ve come to expect from the sandbox genre. The project was originally announced as Oort Online, a sandbox game from former Lionhead Studios and Electronic Arts employees, before being renamed Boundless in late 2015. ![]() Of course, while Boundless may be new to the console community, the game has actually been public knowledge for more than two years. We just have to hope Boundless is able to live up to its lofty ambitions. The PlayStation 4 announcement trailer for Boundless hit the web on Friday, nearly two weeks after a PS4 port was confirmed at PlayStation Experience 2016, and it’s looking like there might still be hope for an interstellar competitor to the Minecraft throne.
